- Design electrical schematics, layouts, and control panel systems aligned with customer and industry standards
- Select and specify components (PLCs, HMIs, relays, transformers, etc.) for optimal system performance
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to bring designs to life
- Ensure compliance with standards such as NEC, UL, IEC, and CE
- Develop bills of materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Support quoting efforts for controls on capital projects
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain and optimize the online parts library
You’re someone who enjoys solving technical problems, collaborating with others, and seeing your designs move from concept to reality!
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (or similar)
- Two (2) years of electrical design experience
- Experience with CAD and electrical design tools
- Working knowledge of NEC, UL, and electrical standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with EPLAN and/or Visio
- Background in industrial or commercial electrical system design
