Position: UI Developer
Location: Jackson, MS- onsite or remote with occasional travel
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Rate/Salary Range: $60- $70 an hour

Join a transformative initiative known as the Genesis Project, where we’re building a brand-new internal UI/UX design system from the ground up. This effort involves redesigning the front end of 30–40 internal applications, with no existing product to inherit—offering a rare opportunity to shape the visual and functional identity of a large-scale enterprise platform.
You’ll collaborate closely with a top-tier design firm and lead a team of junior designers and developers, applying agile development practices to deliver a cohesive and scalable design system.

Key Responsibilities
- Design System Development: Build reusable UI components and patterns using Blazor Server, contributing to a scalable design system that supports dozens of applications.
- Front-End Architecture: Help architect and implement the front-end structure for applications with a strong emphasis on usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior designers and developers, offering technical mentorship and code reviews.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with design and development milestones.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and external design partners to translate design concepts into functional interfaces.
- Milestone Delivery: Contribute to key deliverables including component libraries, documentation, and production-ready UI modules.
- Blazor Server Expertise: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building applications with Blazor Server.
- Design System Experience: Proven track record of working within or building a design system, including component creation and documentation.
- UI Fundamentals: Strong grasp of user interface principles, including layout, typography, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for enhancing interactivity and integrating with Blazor.
