Support Desk Specialist Job#: 3036469 Job Description: Support Desk Specialist Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (On-site) Role Overview We are seeking multiple Support Desk Specialists to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing inbound Tier 1 IT support to internal employees. The position is fully onsite, with interactions primarily occurring through phone calls rather than a ticketing system. There is no plan to convert or extend this position at this time. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound support calls from internal employees for Tier 1 issues. Assist with password resets, account lockouts, and multi-factor authentication credential updates. Provide support for VPN access and VIP registration. Offer Level 1 support for M365, Outlook, browsers, and related connectivity tools. Utilize remote desktop or VDI tools to assist users. Accurately document all support activities as required. Required Qualifications Basic troubleshooting knowledge, particularly with M365 and VPN connectivity. Experience with remote desktop or VDI tools. Strong customer service and communication skills, with an ability to document technical information. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Global Protect & VIP Access.
