We’re looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our clients Structured Debt Client Platform Engineering team at one of our leading financial clients. This is a permanent, direct-hire role.

Sr. Full-Stack Engineer – Structured Debt Client Platform

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and delivering innovative solutions by:
- Developing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Building and enhancing modern Angular applications with TypeScript, NgRx for state management, and Nx for micro frontend architecture.
- Architecting a modular frontend framework that supports multiple applications through Nx workspaces and shared libraries.
- Designing and consuming APIs within a distributed microservices environment, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and testability.
- Implementing structured logging with SLF4J and Log4j, and integrating with monitoring tools like Splunk or ELK.
- Partnering with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, enabling secure and efficient build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Applying TDD and BDD practices with tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Cucumber, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Maintaining code quality and security through SonarQube, Veracode, and other compliance tools.
- Analyzing and improving application performance, database interactions, and service integrations.
- Ensuring data integrity and business logic accuracy when working with Oracle and relational databases, especially for MBS-related data structures.
- Contributing to Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) initiatives like pool-level data processing, cashflow modeling, investor reporting, and REMIC structures.
- Collaborating with product managers, analysts, and QA engineers to translate financial requirements into robust software solutions.
- Staying ahead of emerging technologies and mentoring junior engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or Software Developer, including:
- Strong backend expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data.
- Frontend development using Angular 16 , TypeScript, NgRx, and RxJS.
- Hands-on experience with API development in a microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Nx-based Angular micro frontend architectures (highly preferred).
- Proficiency in testing frameworks:
- Backend: JUnit, Mockito
- Frontend: Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, Cucumber
- Solid understanding of Git/GitLab workflows, CI/CD integration, and GitOps principles.
- Experience with logging frameworks (SLF4J, Log4j) and log aggregation tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL-based data access, and schema design.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Understanding of financial markets, especially Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) workflows.
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, CodePipeline) is a plus.
- Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube, Veracode, or Fortify.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Background in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
- Knowledge of feature flags, blue-green deployments, and observability tooling.
- Prior experience in finance, particularly with MBS, is highly desirable.
