Job Title: Software Engineer - Ab Initio & DevOps

Location: Charlotte, NC | Hybrid 3x/week

Contract Length: 24 months

Rate: $50-55/hr

Top Requirements:

4 years' experience

Hands-on experience with Ab Initio data processing and integration tools

Strong automation skills using Python

Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and tools

Experience with Kubernetes deployment and management

Knowledge of SRE best practices for system reliability and performance

Plusses:

Previous experience working within financial services or large enterprise environments

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Certification in DevOps or cloud technologies

Job Summary:

Seeking a versatile Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Ab Initio, automation with Python, and DevOps methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and SRE practices to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain data processing workflows using Ab Initio
• Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes using Python scripts
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes
• Monitor system performance and implement SRE best practices to ensure high availability and reliability
• Troubleshoot issues related to data workflows, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure
• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
