Position: Field Service Technician II
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project will be a 6 month contract to hire. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range: $20-23/hr.
Position Summary: This position will require overnight travel from Sunday - Thursday. Onsite at client location during normal business hours with travel overnight. OT may be required. Requires a valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant), clean MVR, and a reliable vehicle.

Position: Field Service Technician II

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- Project focus on upgrading advanced commercial printers at retail locations
- Duties may include replacing printer parts, paper feed, power supply, changing the print head, changing toner drum, transfer belt, image unit
- Perform complex upgrades and troubleshooting of printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systems
- Provide on-site technical support to internal or external customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
- Install and remove equipment and systems as required
- Responsible for day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and serve as a customer contact on technical and service-related problems
- Ensure that all schedules, transmission, on-line systems, and problems are resolved in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processes
- Determine the most cost-effective repair / resolution to minimize customer downtime
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years in field service, specifically with commercial/large printers (Lexmark certification preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong electronics/mechanical aptitude; knowledge of Windows OS, networks, databases, security concepts, and Microsoft Office suite; ability to troubleshoot connectivity and perform Windows configuration.
- Tools & Tasks: Familiarity with Rufus, Windows Server imaging, and photo printing; capable of working independently in retail environments.
- Physical & Travel: Able to lift up to 50 lbs; extensive travel by plane/car required.
- Soft Skills: Excellent customer service, professionalism, and clear written/verbal communication; ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
