Location: Bossier City, LA (Onsite)
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Software Developer to support solutions for unique client requirements. This position is for a 6-month period with the potential for permanent placement. As a Software Developer, you will join a team for application development in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment with iterative, feedback-driven development.
Key Responsibilities
Education: A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience developing in a Linux environment is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in C and C is necessary. Experience with Linux, System/Software Design, GitLab, and Java is also required. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of network communication.
Preferred Qualifications
This position requires working fully onsite. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour workdays per week.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to resolve technical and usability issues.
- Assist with designing software, creating models and diagrams, performing updates, testing, and documenting systems.
- Use programming, analysis, design, debugging, testing, and documentation tools to build and maintain software solutions.
