Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with deep consulting experience to lead multiple concurrent client engagements. This role is ideal for a delivery-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments and can immediately step in to own project execution, financials, and stakeholder communication. T his role will be starting at around 20 hours/week and will likely be onsite 2-3 days/week.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Delivery Leadership
- Lead multiple active client projects concurrently , ensuring alignment to scope, timeline, budget, and quality commitments
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and financial health
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including senior and executive-level audiences
- Drive clear, concise, and proactive communication across all phases of delivery
- Own end-to-end project delivery across assigned engagements, including:
- Scope and change control
- Schedule and milestone management
- Risk and issue identification and mitigation
- Dependency management across teams and vendors
- Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) based on project context
- Maintain strong project hygiene, ensuring accurate plans, forecasts, status reporting, and documentation
- Manage engagement financials, including burn tracking, forecasts, invoicing, and change requests
- Balance priorities and capacity across multiple simultaneous projects without compromising delivery quality
- Partner with account and delivery leaders on extensions, rescoping, and delivery planning as needed
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams (engineering, architecture, vendors, partners)
- Drive accountability for deliverables while maintaining a collaborative, solutions-oriented delivery culture
- Escalate risks and blockers early with clear recommendations and impact assessments
- 7 years of project management experience, with significant consulting or professional services experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently in client-facing environments
- Strong command of project financial management, risk management, and executive-level reporting
- Experience leading distributed and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with project management and delivery tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar)
- PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or similar certification
- Experience delivering technology, infrastructure, cloud, or data-focused initiatives
- Prior contract-to-hire or consulting delivery experience
