Key Responsibilities
- Participate in technical requirement gathering and Agile ceremonies.
- Design and develop scalable Java microservices and secure APIs.
- Implement automation testing frameworks for UI and API layers.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
- Provide production support and post-deployment assistance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain clear documentation and support knowledge transfer.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Core Java and Java Microservices development.
- API development and security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).
- Experience with API Gateways (Apigee, ISTIO).
- Automation Testing: Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber (BDD).
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Rancher.
- Databases: Oracle, Postgres, DB2, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, NoSQL.
- Event Streaming: Kafka.
- Monitoring & Observability: Splunk, Datadog.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Productivity Tools: Microsoft Office, Teams, JIRA, ServiceNow, GitLab/GitHub.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- DB2 schema design, SQL tuning, and database administration tools (BMC, IBM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Prior experience supporting ITSM tools and scripting (JavaScript, XML, HTML) is a plus.
