Perform administrative tasks for the laboratories involving the receipt and disposal of laboratory samples
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

General Description
Perform administrative tasks for the laboratories involving the receipt and disposal of laboratory samples
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Receive and stage samples delivered to the analytical laboratory
- Prep Samples to be run by laboratory personnel
- Fill requisition orders for new coupons and sample kit requests
- Stock laboratory supplies
- Prepare and send out samples to other labs for tests not performed in-house
- Dispose of expired samples
- Login and distribute packages for Analytical/R&D personnel.
- Prepare product samples with proper documentation for shipping.
- Track and order common inventory items for the labs.
- Log in submission discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned
- Technical, Analytical skills, and business knowledge
- Communication and Interpersonal skills; Teamwork and leadership
- Organizational skills; Self-management
- Understanding of Laboratory Information Management Systems(LIMS)
- Safe Laboratory Practice and Procedures
- Associates Degree ; college chemistry helpful
- Must have good computer skills; experience with data entry helpful; accurate typist
