As part of the commercial segment of Everforth, we are committed to driving the next wave of global IT services and digital transformation. JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Lead Developer to provide hands-on technical leadership for a large-scale CRM transformation and consolidation program. Working closely with the Salesforce Enterprise Architect, this role will translate the target-state architecture into scalable technical designs and high-quality solutions delivered across multiple releases. The Lead Developer will guide the development team while remaining hands-on in complex Salesforce design, development, integration, troubleshooting, and release activities. The program will consolidate legacy CRM and deal-management platforms into a unified Salesforce environment supporting core sales and customer-lifecycle processes. RESPONSIBLITIES: Architecture and Technical Leadership • Partner with the Salesforce Enterprise Architect to convert target-state architecture into executable technical designs. • Lead technical design decisions and communicate risks, tradeoffs, dependencies, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Establish and enforce reusable engineering standards for Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, integrations, Salesforce security, testing, logging, exception handling, and code review. • Define patterns and accelerators that improve delivery consistency, scalability, maintainability, and speed. Hands-on Development and Integration • Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities across lead, account, contact, opportunity, workflow, approval, contracting, and customer-management processes. • Design and oversee integrations with internal and external platforms using API-led, middleware-based, and event-driven patterns. • Provide hands-on support for complex development, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and defect resolution. • Collaborate with business analysts, QA, delivery leadership, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into implementable solutions. Team Leadership and Engineering Quality • Mentor and guide the nearshore development team, promoting consistent engineering practices, accountability, and knowledge transfer. • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture, security, documentation, testing, and bulkification standards. • Manage platform health through impact analysis, automated testing, and proactive technical-debt management. Release, Consolidation, and Cutover Support • Provide technical leadership for consolidating Salesforce and non-Salesforce CRM platforms into the strategic Salesforce environment. • Support data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, migration, and cutover activities while helping preserve or improve critical legacy capabilities. • Lead technical release readiness, including deployment planning, defect triage, production-readiness reviews, and hypercare. ON-SITE WORK EXPECTATIONS (US & CANADA) As a consulting position, the work location for this role varies according to client needs. Accordingly, this is not a remote position. While some assignments may be performed largely remotely, other assignments require fully on-site work, hybrid work, and/or occasional travel. JOB REQUIREMENTS • 8+ years of Salesforce platform development experience, including at least 3 years in a Lead Developer or Technical Lead capacity. • Advanced hands-on expertise with Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, Sales Cloud, and the Salesforce Security and Sharing Model. • Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, asynchronous processing, Platform Events, enterprise integration patterns, and robust logging and exception handling. • Demonstrated expertise in governor limits, bulkification, performance optimization, automated testing, and platform scalability. • Proven experience leading enterprise Salesforce technical workstreams and mentoring nearshore, offshore, or distributed development teams. • Experience translating enterprise architecture into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions. • Hands-on experience with Salesforce multi-org consolidation and legacy CRM migration, including large-scale data transformation and cutover support. • Strong working knowledge of CI/CD, source control, environment management, and post-production support. • Ability to lead client-facing technical discussions and design sessions. Houston onsite availability is required. • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification. PREFERRED: • Experience within utilities, energy, retail energy, or another regulated industry. • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credential. • Experience with Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or comparable CI/CD and source-control platforms. • Experience supporting complex sales, pricing, approval, contracting, enrollment, and customer-lifecycle workflows.
