Location: 100% Remote
Role Overview
This position supports the Common Services Delivery Program Manager and team, as well as the Senior Program Manager. The role involves structuring a Master Schedule of projects and programs and implementing a Kanban Board using Project Planner Cards. The Master Scheduler will support project managers and the Common Services Delivery branch by assisting in the preparation of status reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Additional responsibilities include coordinating meetings, documenting action items, and following up on outstanding tasks.
Key Responsibilities
This is a remote/telework position. The role may require participation in on-call or surge support activities for critical incidents, major releases, or other operational events as needed. Collaboration will occur using tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, ServiceNow, and JIRA.

Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the hands-on preparation and administration of the Master Project/Program Schedule.
- Prepare for and conduct daily Kanban meetings using Project Planner cards.
- Plan, track, analyze, and report on projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Establish and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and/or Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs).
- Implement scheduling policies, procedures, and Earned Value methodologies.
- Prepare written and verbal reports on cost/schedule variances for management.
- Manage program life-cycle activities, including schedule status, forecasting, critical path analysis, and baseline change requests.
- Interface with Program Managers, Project Managers, and other technical and financial personnel.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering is required.
- 12 years of IT experience, which includes 7-10 years leading and managing IT projects focused on infrastructure, operations, and service delivery. Must have demonstrated experience defining, creating, and managing project/program master schedules and proven experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams in daily Kanban meetings.
- PMP certification (or equivalent) is required.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in IT project lifecycle management, including scope, schedule, milestones, resource planning, and delivery management.
- Experience with risk, issue, dependency, and change management with clear reporting.
- Experience with compliance-focused project execution aligned with organizational standards and governance controls.
- Experience supporting federal civilian agency IT programs.
- Experience managing enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Experience implementing service delivery improvement efforts in complex IT environments.
- Familiarity with governance-driven reporting and oversight models in federal IT contracts.
- Experience collaborating across technical and program teams to drive delivery outcomes.
- PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner).
- PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional).
- SAFe Agilist certification.
