Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring a Program/Project Manager to join a growing client in Greenwood Village to support their IT Strategy and Operations work.
Duration: Contract through 2026, strong potential to extend and/or convert to FTE (This is a long-term need!)
Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Onsite Requirement: 4 days onsite per week, 1 day remote (flexible once ramped up)

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage complex, multi ‑ project programs aligned to enterprise strategy
- Coach project owners on requirements gathering, intake processes, and development lifecycle best practices
- Facilitate executive ‑ level meetings with confidence, presence, and the ability to keep discussions focused
- Coordinate enterprise planning cycles, portfolio reviews, and cross ‑ team communication
- Deliver training sessions on project intake, scope definition, and planning processes
- Analyze multiple data sets to uncover trends, identify errors, and provide operational insights
- Transform raw data using Tableau, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or SQL
- Drive process improvements and reinforce governance standards
- Build strong relationships across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A data ‑ driven problem solver
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and resolve data inconsistencies
- Confident facilitator with executive presence
- Someone who is engaged, proactive, and comfortable guiding conversations back on track
- Experience coaching teams and supporting increment planning
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly
- Comfortable upholding process requirements—even when challenged
- 5–8 years of project or program management experience
- 2–5 years of training delivery
- Tableau proficiency (must ‑ have)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and JQL
- Working knowledge of SDLC
- Experience with data transformation tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or SQL)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create executive ‑ ready documentation and presentations
