Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and independent PC Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch IT support and services to our clients, ensuring their technology needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Title: PC Technician

Type: 6 month contract (long-term opportunity)

Location: Lancaster, PA

Schedule: M-f day shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • PC Tech Support: Provide comprehensive desktop support, including break/fix services, to ensure all systems are functioning optimally.
  • Imaging and Deployment: Utilize your knowledge of imaging and deployment processes to set up and configure new devices.
  • Windows 7 Remediation: Address and resolve issues related to Windows 10 and 11, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • Equipment Build-Out: Build out and test equipment, ensuring everything is clean and operational before deployment.
  • Device Swapping: Locate and swap out devices as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, addressing user concerns and providing timely solutions.
  • Desktop Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Software Installation and Updates: Install, configure, and update software applications as required.
  • Network Connectivity: Assist with network connectivity issues, ensuring users have reliable access to network resources.
  • User Training: Provide basic training to users on new hardware and software as needed.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Travel to various locations to build out and swap equipment, ensuring all setups are complete and functional before moving on to the next task (if needed, not expected during contract)
  • Independently manage your workload, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently without the need for micromanagement.
  • Maintain a fast-paced work environment, adapting quickly to new challenges and tasks.
  • Provide break/fix support, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues as they arise.
  • Engage with customers, providing friendly and effective support to enhance their experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in PC technology and desktop support.
  • Proficiency in imaging and deployment processes.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and 11 remediation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills are a plus.
