Job Description:
Apex is seeking a Machine Operator to join a growing company in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medical devices for coating per customer and quality guidelines
- Measurement conversions required to complete part of this task
- Arrange devices in the machine, monitor device movements throughout the machine process, unload devices and visually inspect for defects
- Create labels and package the final product for shipment
- Assist in resolving equipment issues alongside your team
- Write coating procedures and/or other work instructions
- Record materials used and collect data during the coating process
- High school diploma required
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred in a manufacturing, process development or production environment
- Ability to successfully mix materials, read and understand product specifications and operating procedures for various manufacturing machines
- Ability to measure and inspect products/materials and clearly document all activities
- Capable to conduct performance testing on coated devices
- Ability to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy, often under pressure and/or short deadlines
- Detail oriented, highly organized, capable of completing high quality work
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with co-workers as well as work independently
- Computer literacy with Microsoft package, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
