Lab Technician
Summary
Perform microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine microbiological, chemical, and physical testing
- Accurately document daily test results and records
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety procedures
- Use basic laboratory equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Associate degree or Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology or other related Science major.
- Knowledge of GMPs and SPC plating preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to interpret test results and procedures
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling lab equipment regularly required
- Exposure to cold temperatures, wet/humid conditions, chemicals, and moderate noise
- Personal protective equipment and hearing protection required as applicable
- Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
