Internal Communications Writer
Position Overview
Our client in the industrial automation and enterprise communications space is seeking an Internal Communications Writer to craft engaging, concise, and brand-compliant content for internal storytelling campaigns. This role focuses on creating digestible, conversational pieces that resonate with employees across multiple channels.
This role is REMOTE. The client is looking for up to 20 hours/week through Q1 2026 with the potential to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our video/graphic content creator to produce pieces meant for internal communications
- Write short-form articles (one-minute reads) for internal newsletters and intranet
- Develop copy for campaigns and other employee-focused initiatives
- Collaborate with content leads to repurpose leadership soundbites and webinar insights
- Ensure all content is brand-compliant, conversational, and optimized for quick consumption
- Support multi-channel distribution (Newsletter, Viva Engage, digital signage)
Qualifications
- Background in news/newsletter style writing using Axios Smart Brevity and AP Style
- Background in internal communications strategies and employee engagement
- Content strategy chops for internal/corporate communications
- Experience synthesizing complex information into clear, conversational content
- Portfolio showcasing newsletter-style writing and storytelling for corporate audiences
