We are seeking a Product Management Lead for a key role within a Government Solutions organization. This position balances short-term execution priorities with long-term growth strategies for Local, State, and Federal Government markets. Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Management Lead for a key role within a Government Solutions organization. The role is market-driven and involves working across various departments, including pricing, product marketing, sales, and technology, to address government client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover opportunities in local, state, and federal government markets by interviewing customers and validating urgent problems.
- Map needs within government markets and analyze segments to pursue.
- Perform objective analysis of potential market opportunities to provide a basis for investment.
- Assist in long-term planning and product diversification.
- Determine which channels (web UI, batch, API) best align with market buying preferences.
- Collaborate across functions to deliver new or enhanced solutions to the market.
- Provide marketing with inputs for positioning, value propositions, and messages to differentiate solutions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine solution performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide thought leadership for marketing initiatives.
- Understand how clients use solutions and collaborate to develop and maintain key buyer and user personas.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 7 years of experience in a B2B product management or related role in a complex business environment, including experience with go-to-market strategy development.
- 2 years of experience with the policies/processes of Local, State, and/or Federal Government markets (Government Benefit Programs).
- 2 years of experience in analytical skills as evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, assess market opportunities/viability, and evaluate competitive threats.
- Master's Degree.
- Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services.
- Experience working in a matrix environment.
- Track record of successfully delivering projects on time in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work comfortably with Marketing, Data & Analytics, Technology, and Sales teams.
- Knowledge of consumer’s information verification methodologies for purposes of Government Benefits eligibility.
- Experience working with various state and/or federal agencies like Medicaid, SNAP, FNS, CMS etc.
