We are seeking motivated, hands-on professionals to support the launch and operation of a next-generation, liquid-cooled data center in Wink, TX. What You'll Do
As a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and safety of critical infrastructure systems.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on critical facility systems
- Operate and support infrastructure including:
- Electrical distribution (UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs)
- Cooling systems (chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units)
- Building monitoring systems (BMS/EPMS)
- Assist with commissioning, testing, and site readiness activities for new infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with technicians, vendors, and internal teams to execute work safely and effectively
- Track performance metrics, maintenance activity, and inventory
- Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize performance and reliability
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in:
- Data center operations, critical facilities, electrical/mechanical systems, OR similar hands-on technical environments
- Experience troubleshooting and working with infrastructure or hardware systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured operational procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, onsite environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data center or critical facility infrastructure
- Background in electrical, mechanical, or engineering-related disciplines (degree, trade school, or military training)
- Exposure to:
- Power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear)
- HVAC or cooling systems
- Networking basics or structured cabling
- Initial training and onboarding will take place in Dallas, TX before transitioning to Wink
- Expect a 4-6 month ramp period to gain full proficiency, depending on experience

- Onsite role based in Wink, TX (relocation may be required)
