Our agency client is seeking a detail-oriented content editor to review and refine copy on packaged products, as well as other formats - print, digital, presentations, and social media.
Key Responsibilities:- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting across all deliverables.
- Verify changes against markups and perform quality assurance checks on variable elements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage workload, align on style decisions, and meet deadlines.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback and maintain organized workflows for multiple projects.
- Expert command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pattern recognition.
- Strong organizational and time management skills for juggling multiple projects.
- Ability to simplify complex messaging for clarity and accessibility.
- Experience proofing and editing packaging.
- Experience working with large scale retail companies.
- Professional proofreading and copy editing experience.
- Familiarity with agency workflows and house style guides.
- Experience with soft proofing systems and project management tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront).
- Writing experience is a plus
