Business Process Optimization Analyst
Location: Pensacola, Florida (Hybrid)
Alternate Location: Winchester, VA or Vienna, VA (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Process Optimization Analyst. This role is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and optimizing business processes to support operational efficiency, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and service quality. The analyst will conduct end-to-end process reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and design scalable process solutions in partnership with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Experience: 5 years of experience in process improvement or business analysis, including root cause analysis, problem-solving, process documentation, and standardization.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in process improvement methodologies and process modeling and workflow tools. Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization techniques.

We are seeking a Business Process Optimization Analyst. - Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct end-to-end process reviews to understand workflows, dependencies, pain points, and business impacts.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and understand current-state processes.
- Develop current-state and future-state process maps, flowcharts, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with business stakeholders to design and document new processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation including process maps and process narratives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions to address process-related issues.
- Support business process redesign initiatives by evaluating process performance, controls, handoffs, and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of business cases and ROI analyses for process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement process changes.
- Support the implementation of approved process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
