Application Support Manager

We are seeking an IT Manager/Application Support Manager for a large Insurance client. Our client is in a growth phase and currently requires a hands-on technical professional who can manage multiple responsibilities before processes become siloed. This individual should be capable of working with internal teams and external vendors while being technically strong enough to perform or troubleshoot tasks when needed.

Salar Range: 130-140K Bonus

Overview:

We’re seeking a highly organized and technically adept Enterprise Applications Manager to lead and support a suite of critical business applications, with a strong focus on Oracle and Citrix enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone with a blend of accounting knowledge, technical integration experience, and exceptional communication skills. You’ll be joining a small but impactful team of three, with the opportunity to grow into a Director-level position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Oracle enterprise applications, especially AP/AR and OIC integrations.
• Oversee and manage a portfolio of 5–7 enterprise applications including:
• Oracle
• Microsoft O365
• Citrix
• Dayforce (HRIS)
• Jira & Workflow Tools
• AWD (Advanced Workflow for Insurance)
• Citrix (managed by a third-party)
• RingCentral
• Act as a liaison between IT and business units, driving collaboration and ensuring alignment across departments.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
• Provide strategic direction and hands-on support where needed, without deep technical immersion.
• Maintain and improve organizational workflows and application performance.
• Communicate effectively across departments to “herd cats” and drive initiatives forward.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong background in accounting with a technologist mindset.
• Experience with Oracle integrations and enterprise application ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Adobe and Dayforce is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage stakeholders.
• Comfortable with hybrid work and occasional onsite presence in Austin.
• Ready to step into a managerial role with growth potential into director-level leadership.
