Apex Supply is a small, rapidly growing industrial supplies company specializing in mining parts. We pride ourselves on fast, accurate service and strong customer relationships. As we expand, we need a dependable, detail-oriented Customer Sales Representative to join our warehouse team and support day-to-day order and shipping operations.

Position Summary

The Customer Sales Representative is the primary paperwork and order-processing contact in our Mapleton warehouse. This role manages sales orders, purchase orders, and invoicing, assists with incoming and outgoing shipments, and supports customer and vendor communication. The position reports directly to the owner and is hands-on in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Accurately create, review, and maintain Sales Orders (SOs), Purchase Orders (POs), and invoices.

· Enter orders into the company’s order management or ERP system and ensure documentation aligns with shipments.

· Prepare and process customer invoices, credit memos, and assist with billing reconciliation.

· Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal staff to verify order details, pricing, lead times, and delivery instructions.

· Assist with receiving incoming product, inspecting shipments, and updating inventory records.

· Prepare and stage outgoing shipments, coordinate with freight carriers, generate shipping documents, and ensure timely dispatch.

· Troubleshoot order discrepancies, shipping issues, and customer inquiries professionally.

· Maintain organized paperwork and digital records following company procedures.

· Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.

· Support process improvements to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· One to three years of experience in order entry, customer service, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and data entry.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

· Clear verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet in a warehouse setting.

· Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while taking direction.

Preferred Qualifications

· Proficiency in QuickBooks.

· Experience in industrial supply, mining parts, or B2B distribution.

· Forklift experience or certification.

· Familiarity with freight documentation such as BOLs and freight bills.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
