Onsite Project Manager

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Taylor, MI looking to add a Project Coordinator to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to coordinate customer orders, communicate updates, and work with internal teams to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time. What your day will look like:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding job specifications, timelines, proofs, approvals, questions, and order status updates.
• Review customer requests and assist in gathering complete and accurate job specifications.
• Enter, update, and maintain job information within company production and workflow management systems.
• Coordinate with estimating, sales, prepress, production, mailing, bindery, and shipping departments to ensure jobs progress efficiently through each stage.
• Monitor proofs, customer approvals, production schedules, and delivery requirements to help ensure timely completion.
• Ensure job tickets, production details, and customer instructions are clear, accurate, and complete.
• Proactively follow up with customers and internal teams to maintain project timelines and resolve outstanding issues.
• Support sales representatives with customer communications, quote follow-ups, order details, and project coordination.
• Identify potential issues or discrepancies early and work with the appropriate teams to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of customer communications, job updates, approvals, and project details.
• Assist with repeat orders, customer portals, eCommerce orders, and other customer service responsibilities as needed.
• Deliver professional, responsive, and accurate communication to customers, sales representatives, and internal team members.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in customer service, project coordination, administrative support, printing, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Print industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience with PrintIQ, management information systems (MIS), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, or order management software is a plus but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, deadlines, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers, email, spreadsheets, and general business software.
