Job description:
Apex Pediatric Therapy Services provides ABA, speech and occupational therapy services to children and adolescents. We are currently looking for a positive, creative and energetic scheduler / receptionist.
Schedule Needed:
Monday to Friday - 1:30pm to 8:00pm
Role and Responsibilities
- Front desk receptionist activities
- Manage therapists’ schedules as per the need of the clients
- Keep all schedules up to date on the scheduling system
- Arrange coverage for therapists’ cancellations
- Manage continuity of care as new therapists join and others exit
- Maintain upcoming time off schedule and ensure coverage for time offs for short term and long term needs
- Address clients’ request for schedule changes as and when needed
- Keep the facilities organized and clean at all times
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Authorization Support
- Assist with setting up new clients in systems and their associated details.
- Assist with calling insurance in connection with approvals
- Assist with auth form preparations
Billing
- Bill Claims to the insurance companies
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing
- Claims Follow up
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Proven history of customer-centric approach
- Prior scheduling experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing schedule related needs while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent organization, planning, prioritization and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Pay Scale:
- $18 to $19 per hour
Salary : $18 - $19
