What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Coordinator position at Apex Moving Storage?
Overview
A well-established logistics and transportation provider with 50 years of experience is looking for a dedicated individual to coordinate customer projects at our new facility in Spring Hill, TN. This is a full-time position, on location, that involves managing digital data and facilitating communications among customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create, schedule, and coordinate local, interstate, intrastate, commercial, and logistic moves
- Manage projects by providing quotes to clients, setting up project folders, entering documents into system, and sending to clients
- Responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of paperwork as submitted by drivers and crew members to ensure accurate data and accurate billing
- Coordinate third party services
- Assist with researching unmarked warehouse material received, report and track discrepancies and help correct past and current client reporting and billing
- Quote/schedule freight requests
- Providing clients, customers, or sales with formal quotes
- Proper scanning/uploads of quotes and documents
- Works with internal teams to ensure moves in question are accurately billed and requests, missing information as needed
- Primary back-up and support to other members of the customer service staff
- Provide and maintain superior customer service delivery with employee training opportunities and industry updates to meet the customer's needs, and with timely and adequate communication with internal and external customers
- Assist with low level accounting/clerical duties as needed
- Assist with answering phones and other office duties as required
