Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and fix issues in Microsoft Access (front-end) and SQL Server (back-end).
- Ensure daily operational workflows run reliably and accurately.
- Reverse-engineer and document business logic, queries, forms, and workflows.
- Debug and maintain forms, queries, modules, macros, and VBA code.
- Write and debug SQL queries, stored procedures, ADO, and integrations.
- Support accounting/financial workflow processes.
- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to OIT teams.
- Collaborate with business users and modernization team.
- 5 years Microsoft Access Development.
- 5 years VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
- 5 years ActiveX Data Objects (ADO).
- 5 years MS Access SQL & Query Design.
- 3 years splitting Access DB into front-end/back-end.
- 4 years translating business logic from Access objects → SQL.
- 4 years writing stored procedures & migrating tables to SQL Server.
- 4 years converting Access forms/reports to web-based apps.
- Experience with QuickBase RAD platform.
- Accounting/Financial workflow experience.
- Experience stabilizing legacy applications during modernization.
