Customer Service Representative

We're a local HR and payroll company looking for a motivated professional to join our team. If you're detail-oriented, adaptable, and/or eager to grow, this role could be the perfect fit. You'll gain hands-on experience in payroll and human resource administration.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service and general office support (phones, mail, filing)
• Enter payroll data and assist with reporting for state and federal agencies
• Maintain organized digital and paper records
• Support employee onboarding through online systems
• Manage office supplies and light housekeeping tasks
• Collaborate with the team on continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze and resolve administrative or payroll issues

Skills & Strengths We Value

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong phone etiquette and experience with multi-line systems
• Familiarity with office equipment (printers, label printers, 10-Key)
• Ability to create and manage tracking forms in Excel
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Requirements

• Previous office experience preferred
• Willingness to learn an advanced payroll system (not QuickBooks)
• Ability to complete Word & Excel testing
• Must pass a background check

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Location: In-person only

Compensation

• Starting at $17.00/hour for candidates with little or no CSR experience
• Experienced applicants: DOE (Depends on Experience)

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
