Role: Sonographer in Maternal Fetal Medicine, performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures onsite.
Responsibilities: Review patient history, educate patients, prepare and administer contrast/media within scope, monitor patient condition, operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensure image quality, analyze results, and report findings. May assist with radiology students and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program, registered as RDMS, RVT, or RDCS, and hold BLS certification. No prior experience required. Must be licensed if applicable by law.
Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, technical proficiency, patient communication, safety standards adherence, and ability to handle equipment issues effectively.
