- Assess call situations and determine appropriate action using advanced protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and IV fluids to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information.
- Take leadership on scene, managing the scene and ambulance unit as needed.
- Drive ambulance during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with other healthcare and public safety personnel.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
- Certifications including BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass physical agility tests.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
