The Nurse Supervisor provides leadership in inpatient rehabilitation settings, overseeing nursing care, developing personalized patient care programs, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. They act as a key liaison between administration, management, and staff, supervise nursing teams, manage staff performance, and participate in patient care as needed. Building meaningful relationships with patients to support their recovery and celebrating patient milestones are essential duties.
Qualifications And Skills
Candidates must hold current RN licensure, with BLS certification and ACLS certification to be obtained within one year. CRRN certification should be acquired within a year of eligibility. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred, along with at least two years of recent inpatient hospital experience. Prior leadership experience, such as charge nurse, is required to handle interim reporting, issue resolution, and accountability.
