Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes, including preparing rooms and ensuring patient belongings accompany them.
- Transport stable patients safely while maintaining confidentiality and security.
- Maintain cleanliness, procure equipment, and run unit errands as needed.
- Support a safe and comfortable environment by replenishing supplies and assisting with patient needs.
- Perform unit-specific patient care tasks, monitor patient condition changes, and report promptly to nursing staff.
- Manage inventory, organize supplies, and respond to emergencies effectively.
- Communicate efficiently with team members, respond to calls, and adapt care to meet individual patient needs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Patient care experience in an acute care setting is advantageous.
- Licensed CNA in the state of employment required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
