Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and team members, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help maintain smooth office operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors promptly, professionally, and warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Check in guests and direct them to the appropriate coach and area.
- Welcome trial participants, make sure they have all signed waivers on file, and provide their trial slip.
- Ensure trial meets dress code requirements (hair secured, no jewelry, etc.)
- Guide athletes on where to store personal belongings (cubbies) and inform them of restroom and water fountain locations.
- Inform parents/guardians where to sit during sessions and encourage them to ask questions if needed.
- Proactively assist parents after trial sessions with the registration process, assuming a positive experience.
Communication
- Check voicemail and messages regularly throughout the day
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquires in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate information in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Respond to emails promptly, either before classes start and between customer interactions
- Monitor the viewing area to ensure cleanliness and a positive environment for guests
- Take and relay messages clearly and accurately when necessary
- Bilingual a plus
Administrative Support
- Assist with registering new customers, scheduling trial classes, and reaching out to past trials.
- Schedule classes, transfers, make-ups, open gym sessions, clinics, and other programs.
- Provide a seamless and efficient experience for customers when handling scheduling requests.
- Ensure customers are set up with the gym's app and provide guidance on how to use it effectively.
- Maintain accurate filing of documents and necessary paperwork.
Front Desk Maintenance
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Complete the cleaning checklist before shifts, during downtime, and at the end of the day.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including desks, counters, and equipment.
- Maintian cleanliness of front desk and back office areas.
- Clean and dust office equipment (e.g. printers, etc)
- Sweep and mop floors regularly.
- Empty all trash bins, including those in the lobby.
- Ensure the proshop remains clean, organized and presentable.
- Review and restock office supplies weekly (refer to supply checklist)
Security Control
- Store personal items and phones away while on duty.
- Do not eat n front of customers.
- Refrain from using social media or playing games on work computers.
- Monitor and control access through the reception area to ensure a safe environment.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
