Corporate Accountant - English & Italian speaker
We are looking for an Accountant with approximately 2 years of professional experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background and a basic understanding of corporate secretarial activities. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and assisting with corporate compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and journal entries.
Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Assist in preparing financial statements.
Handle VAT and tax-related documentation.
Support internal and external audits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
Provide support in corporate administration related matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance
Italian proficiency is essential
Approximately 2 years of experience in accounting. Previous experience/training at a chartered accounting firm is considered a plus.
Knowledge of corporate governance /AML KYC and secretarial practices
Manage corporate documentation for the incorporation and liquidation of companies
Good understanding of accounting principles
Fluent English knowledge (written & conversational) is essential
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Zucchetti and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Organized and accurate in working methodologies with an eye for the detail and ability to work in a cross functional stakeholder environment
Discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a corporate environment or professional services firm
Familiarity with international accounting standards (if applicable)
Experience working with external auditors and legal advisors
