About the Role:
Apex Foundation Of Austin LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Residential Concrete Superintendent to join our growing team in Lockhart, TX. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee residential concrete foundation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality craftsmanship and on-time delivery. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily residential concrete foundation operations on active job sites
- Manage and direct concrete crews, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure efficient workflow
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications for residential foundation work
- Monitor quality control and ensure all concrete pours, forming, and finishing meet company and code standards
- Enforce job site safety protocols and OSHA compliance at all times
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment scheduling, and site logistics
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and issues to project managers and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work passes all required municipal and county inspections
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in residential concrete construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of concrete foundation systems, slab-on-grade, and forming techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site plans
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate field crews
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and job site best practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Lockhart, TX
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced construction environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
