About the Role:
As a Line Cook at Apex Entertainment, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen team-preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen looking and tasting its best. We're looking for individuals who are efficient, reliable, and committed to excellence in every dish they serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Execution
- Prepare and cook menu items to Apex's standards for quality, portion, and presentation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our menu and ingredients.
Kitchen Operations
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Track product quality and shelf life to reduce waste.
Fast-Paced Precision
- Work efficiently to complete orders within designated ticket times.
- Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Follow instructions from Kitchen Managers and shift leads.
Team Collaboration
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment.
- Support team members and adapt to the needs of the kitchen.
- Uphold a strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar kitchen environment.
- A passion for food, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work standing for long periods (8-10 hours).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong multitasking skills in a high-energy setting.
- Weekend and evening availability is required.
