Role Description The Treatment Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, responsible for guiding patients through their recommended dental treatment plans and financial options. This role involves meeting with patients to review proposed treatments, explaining procedures in clear, accessible language, and answering questions to support informed decisions. The Treatment Coordinator will coordinate insurance benefits and estimates, verify coverage, and prepare financial arrangements, including payment plans when applicable. Daily tasks include collaborating with dentists and clinical team members to ensure accurate treatment information, scheduling appointments, and following up with patients regarding pending treatment. The role also includes maintaining detailed records, providing high-quality customer service at every patient interaction, and supporting front office operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning, including reviewing proposed procedures, sequencing visits, and presenting options to patients.
- Knowledge of Insurance processes, such as verifying benefits, calculating patient portions, and submitting or tracking pre-authorizations.
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on patient experience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
