Responsibilities

- Supervise food preparation activities, overseeing food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste through efficient food production.
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food preparation techniques, timing, and service standards.
- Assist in menu planning for banquet events, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary ideas to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed, including proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
- Oversee the setup of banquet stations and coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth food delivery during events.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory usage, food costs, and production schedules to support operational efficiency.
- Support the training and development of team members in culinary skills, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Banquet Cook or in a similar large-scale food production role within the hospitality or food industry.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a kitchen environment.
- Extensive background in fine dining cuisine, catering services, or restaurant management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dietary accommodations and special event catering requirements.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards (such as HACCP), and kitchen operations.
- Experience with menu planning, shift management, and coordinating multiple culinary tasks simultaneously.
