Your Responsibilities as a Project Manager:
- Project managementassistanceon several types of utility projects including client coordination, contract negotiation, developing andmaintainingproject schedules, and maintaining project budgets.
- Supervising CAD designers and project coordination with other departments, professions, and agencies.
- Supervisingpermittechnicians and administration in completing permit applications and moving permit application process forward.
- Construction observations, preparing field observation reports of construction activity, andwitnessingcritical tasks during construction.
- Project coordination and communication with construction managers, contractors, owners, construction inspectors, andpermittingagencies.
- Writingtechnical reports, letters, project summaries, and emails.
- Water and wastewater plant design preferred.
- Ability to work both in the field and in office settings.
What we're looking for:
- Civil Engineer with 5 years of local experience in civil engineering utility projects with a Florida P.E. for at least 1 year.
- Strong written and verbal skills arerequired.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook Preferred.
- Position requires contact with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Must have an excellent driving record and have a valid Florida driver's license as driving is an essential part of the position.
