What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse OR Circulator position at Apex Cardiology?
Apex Cardiology is seeking an OR Circulating Registered Nurse to join our office-based vascular lab. While experience in cardiology or vascular lab procedures is preferred, it is not required. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented nurse who is comfortable supporting a variety of outpatient vascular procedures in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the circulating nurse during office-based vascular procedures
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient procedural environment
- Assist physicians and clinical staff throughout procedures
- Prepare patients, provide peri-procedural support, and monitor patient safety
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active state licensure
- BLS and ACLS
- Previous OR or procedural nursing experience preferred
- Experience in cardiology or vascular lab procedures preferred but not required
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Schedule:
- Average 8-hour workday
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
