Note: 11pm to 730am Tuesday-Saturday.
Description:
- Able to operate a shift unassisted and have the ability to rebuild equipment.
- A Water Operator Level B possesses a Water Operator license and 1 - 2 endorsements.
- Endorsements required for Millsboro include Distribution, Disinfection, Chemical Feed and Filtration.
- Will have 1 - 3 years of acceptable operating experience.
- Operates mostly under supervision, 11pm to 730am Tuesday-Saturday.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operation of the water treatment system.
- Assists with compliance documentation and recordkeeping.
- Maintenance of water equipment and wells.
- Adheres to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.
- Performs process control lab work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Water Operator license with 1 – 2 endorsements.
- 1 – 3 years of acceptable operating experience.
- DE: Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours of approved training within that timeframe.
Skills and Certifications:
