Onsite | Location: Chilton, United States | FTEs: 1 (Can travel from Appleton, Green bay, Madison, Milwaukee)

Travel: Chilton, Wisconsin

Days onsite: all 5 days or minimum 4 days

PS: onsite is preferred else onshore would also work but have to travel couple days in 2 weeks.

Role Overview

The SAP Datasphere Lead will be the onshore subject matter expert responsible for driving the data transformation layer within the S/4HANA Public Cloud rollout. This individual will work closely with the Data Migration & Cutover Lead, functional consultants, and client data owners to perform legacy data extraction, write relevancy rules, configure transformation logic in SAP Datasphere, and ensure migration objects are prepared accurately for load. Deep knowledge of key SAP migration objects across manufacturing and commercial domains is essential.

Key Responsibilities

•       Serve as the onshore technical lead for SAP Datasphere within the data migration workstream

•       Perform end-to-end data transformation for key migration objects from legacy systems to S/4HANA Public Cloud format

•       Design and implement relevancy rules to filter and govern which data records are in scope for each migration object

•       Configure and maintain transformation logic within SAP Datasphere for rollout-specific object requirements

•       Work closely with client data owners and functional consultants to understand source system data structures and business transformation needs

•       Collaborate with the Data Migration & Cutover Lead to align transformation outputs with Data Migration Cockpit load requirements

•       Perform data profiling and quality assessments on source data to identify gaps, duplicates, and cleansing requirements

•       Support mock load cycles and cutover executions, resolving transformation errors and load failures

•       Document transformation rules, mapping specifications, and relevancy logic for each migration object

•       Support testing phases (unit, SIT, UAT) by validating migrated data against expected outcomes

Key Migration Objects (Hands-on Experience Required)

•       Material Master (including classification, MRP views, plant data)

•       Bill of Materials (BOM)

•       Routing / Work Centers

•       Business Partner (Customer, Vendor, Contact Person)

•       Open Sales Orders and Open Purchase Orders

•       Additional objects as defined by the rollout scope

Required Qualifications

•       8 years of SAP data migration experience with a focus on technical transformation and object configuration

•       Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud / SAP BW/4HANA) for transformation tasks

•       Proven expertise with the migration objects listed above in an S/4HANA context

•       Strong understanding of data relevancy rule design and implementation

•       Experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) and migration template structures

•       Proficiency in data mapping, field-level transformation logic, and value mapping

•       Solid understanding of S/4HANA Public Cloud data architecture and constraints

•       Ability to write and review transformation logic in tools such as SQL, Python, or SAP-native scripting within Datasphere

Preferred Qualifications

•       Experience supporting US-based plant rollouts within a global SAP template

•       Familiarity with integration between SAP Datasphere and Data Migration Cockpit

•       Experience with manufacturing industry SAP implementations (discrete or process manufacturing)

•       SAP certification in Datasphere or data management

•       Team player who collaborates effectively with onshore and offshore counterparts

•       Ability to work under pressure during mock cutover and go-live periods
