Senior Appian Developer
Malvern, PA ( 3 days Hybrid).
Client : Vanguard
They need to have some type of Appian certification.
Job Summary
- Independently manage requirements and design related activities for complex projects that cross multiple systems and have multiple stakeholder types.
- Work with line of business and subject matter experts for identifying process automation and improvisation leveraging BPM methodology.
- Design and implement Data Model, Configure Error Handling for Data Pages.
- Identify the correct pattern out of Applications, and Keyed access pattern based on requirement.
- Design and development of Appian system.
- Work on design chevrons, stages and steps for process flows.
- Develop and configure an advanced agent, manage agent execution in a cluster, Manage agent access control, Scheduling nodes.
- Develop Appian case types, Case Hierarchy Design, Case Specialization and Process Design, Process and Engine APIs, Locking Architecture, stages and steps for process flows, UI rules and UI controls.
- Create declarative decisioning rules, decision rules, decision tables, when rules and declarative expressions.
- Write procedural logic using activities and data transform rules.
- Work on Enterprise Technology Structure (ETS), create Expression rules, validation and correspondence rules.
- Report components such as report definitions, list views and summary views.
- Work on Enterprise Class Structure (ECS), Decide when to use Dynamic Referencing, Configure Dynamic Referencing, extending a Framework, Extend Organizational Structure.
- Create Expression rules and Report components such as report definitions, list views and summary views, set up a production ruleset for reporting, configure report presentation and control user access, avoid problems when moving a report from development to production and troubleshoot report performance.

- Analyze the need for tuning application servers, modify alert code thresholds to ensure the application meets the expected performance metrics,

- Involved in APPIAN integration activities.
- Involved in API services, REST connector and services, SOAP connectors and services, WSDL and XML parsing, connector and metadata wizards.
- Implement and test support activities and provide support during the different test phases like SIT, UAT etc. work on documentation, contribute in design and specification documents.
- Create unit test case documents and follow Appian methodologies to test each item.
- Provide Appian deployment support by moving across the developed requirements to higher environments.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, able to work with distributed and cross functional team, experience building an Appian application from the ground up, a focus on quality, good interpersonal skills.
