Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CMM Programmer to join Pratt & Whitney's aerospace manufacturing team in Columbus, GA. The candidate will be responsible for programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), performing dimensional inspections, and ensuring precision engine components meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute CMM inspection programs using CAMIO software.
- Operate LK CMM equipment and perform dimensional inspections of precision engine components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Prepare inspection reports and validate measurement results.
- Support AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Troubleshoot measurement issues and maintain inspection accuracy.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in CMM programming or metrology.
- Hands-on experience with CAMIO software and LK CMM equipment.
- Knowledge of Calypso, Hexagon, and PC-DMIS.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Experience with dimensional inspection and AS9102 First Article Inspection.
- Knowledge of precision manufacturing and measurement validation.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.
