The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Gilroy, CA. Responsibilities:
- Conduct general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Promptly respond to service requests, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
- Perform regular property inspections to address potential issues proactively.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure compliance.
- Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents through turnover repairs.
- Collaborate with the property management team and coworkers to ensure smooth operations and a positive resident experience.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing LIHTC or a related field.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.
- HVAC or EPA certifications are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability for on-call emergency maintenance needs.
