Responsibilities:
Staff Development Coordinator:
- Ensure completion of staff competencies and annual training
- Conduct in-services, audits, and education to promote best practices within the facility
- Assist with the orientation of all new employees
- Be an example of best practices within the facility
- Is certified, or is willing to become a certified Infection Preventionist
- Tracks and trends infection both in-house acquired and hospital acquired
- Committed to quality assurance and performance improvement
- RN Preferred
- License in good standing in the state of RI
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with physicians, residents, and family members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional care and services, with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction
