About the Role:
As an Activities Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating and coordinating daily events, such as games, arts, and crafts, and other recreational activities.
- Transporting residents to and from activities
- Logging activities notes related to resident participation.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging activities experience.
- Communicating with participants, employees, and volunteers to ensure a seamless experience
- Managing logistics and operations to ensure the smooth execution of events
- Lifting the spirits of our residents and ensuring they enjoy their time at our community
- High school diploma and certain certifications may be required
- Experience with nursing, recreational activities, event planning, or related fields may be preferred
- Job training and first aid/CPR training may be necessary
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
