Overview
We have partnered with fast-paced aerospace flight test environment is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector III to support aircraft inspection, airworthiness verification, and flight release activities. The role requires strong technical judgment and significant autonomy in ensuring aircraft meet all safety and regulatory standards prior to flight.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect flight test aircraft for defects, damage, and regulatory compliance
- Assess airworthiness and authorize release-to-flight documentation
- Review technical logs, quality records, and non-conformance reports
- Support audits of shop floor and quality system processes
- Conduct or support NDT activities where qualified
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of quality and safety culture
Requirements
- FAA A&P License (required)
- 6 years aircraft inspection / quality / maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft systems
- Experience in flight test, maintenance, or pre-flight inspection preferred
- NDT certification preferred; IA highly desirable
- Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
