Instrumentation Engineer
Industry: Aerospace / Flight Test
Location: Moses Lake, Washington
Contract: 12- month initial (extension likely)
Pay: Competitive $ Rate
A leading aerospace flight test organisation is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to support aircraft testing and certification programmes.
You’ll work across instrumentation design, installation, calibration, telemetry, data acquisition, and airborne flight test support within a highly technical Test & Evaluation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support aircraft instrumentation installations
- Produce wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation packages
- Select and calibrate sensors (pressure, temperature, strain, position, etc.)
- Configure signal conditioning and data acquisition systems
- Support telemetry, IRIG Chapter 10 recording, and GPS systems
- Provide ground and inflight test support, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Support flight test planning, documentation, and certification activities
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Instrumentation or similar)
- 5 years’ instrumentation experience in a testing environment
- Aerospace or aircraft flight test experience preferred
- Experience with data processing, analysis, or programming
