They are expanding their client service and portfolio management support team and is seeking a Portfolio Analyst who is detail-oriented, collaborative and passionate about delivering exceptional service to advisors and clients. This is a HYBRID (3/days/week) position, in Wyomissing, PA.

🔍 THE ROLE: SUPPORTING SMART, TAX‑EFFICIENT INVESTING
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of model portfolios and trading activity across multiple advisors and offices. You will partner closely with Financial Advisors and Planners, providing portfolio analysis, operational support, and insights aligned with Apella Wealth’s investment philosophy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily model portfolio trading across multiple advisors using portfolio management and trading software
- Monitor cash flows, invest deposits, and create liquidity as needed
- Rebalance accounts and implement portfolio adjustments
- Recommend tax efficient portfolio changes based on firm provided investment models
- Produce trade recommendations using both automated tools and manual analysis when needed
- Analyze client and prospect portfolios to ensure diversification and philosophical alignment
- Provide insight on financial markets and investment strategies
- Support Financial Advisors and Planners with operational and administrative needs
- Maintain organized files and documentation in accordance with compliance requirements
- Assist with meetings, projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
🛠️ WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Economics, or a related field and/or 2 years of wealth management or investment operations experience
- Strong knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment instruments
- Understanding of tax implications related to investment trading
- FINRA Series 65 preferred (or required within 6 months of hire)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and analytical tools
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
💰 COMPENSATION: $70,000 – $77,000; based on experience. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
